August 28, email to Dr. Buzz, University of Houston History Department

Gee, Dr. Buzz, it’s been over a week since I sent you the cluster bomb of essays that pretty much blows the cover off the Bush Team public affairs/psychological operation orgy with the media.  Hey, man, I thought you were the campus radical, but now my other academic contacts say you’re a paper tiger.  So which is it?  You’re in the book now, and your reputation is riding on the line.  Inaction means cowardice; initiative means courage.  Is this all clear enough?  Am I fighting the war from the underground while you chase undergrad ass or something?  Jesus Christ, I can’t believe Marx thought you academics were relevant.  Bush seems to be closer to the mark than Marx, though.  Like Hitler, he has contempt for the cowardice of college professors – maybe that’s why he didn’t bother to move in on your turf first.  He knows you’ll all be his bitches when he snaps his fingers.  Just look at you cowering now, and all you’ve done is get a little of the light of truth.

Captain May

PS:  If you write back, let me know what you have done to show that you aren’t an overrated undergrounder, don’t give me the bullshit academic cons of “higher meaning” and “objective detachment.”  Man, read your damn Declaration of Independence and your Bill of Rights.  You’ve got a duty, brother; now get to it.
