September 8, email to Miss Kim, General Clark’s campaign

Again, I don't think the General needs an Ari Fleishcer.  He is articulate, focused and well-balanced, qualities I only have when I practice martial arts.  Please give him my compliments for his backhand to Sean Hannity last night.  I would call him a political genius, but his competition is so feeble that he won't rate it for whipping this bunch in a year.  Let's wait for him to make the decisions worthy of a man with his experience and education.  I am neither for nor against anything or anyone but the US Constitution.  My oath to it was the most noble deed of an otherwise varied life (ain't they all?), and so long as he and I are on the mission of preserving our country, I am his as he is mine.

As for how you can help me, that’s a strategic call at this point.  I'm the guy who stood up for the Constitution while the watchdogs slept (or pretended to).  If you want to throw me a lifeline, I'm eager to reach for it, but until the truth about Iraq comes out, I'm strictly underground.  You have to decide what you can do for me, consistent with the demands of our mission:  the restoration of the Republic.  Ain't that what captains are supposed to say in dangerous times?  It's the fate of an intelligence officer:  Toujours en avant!

Captain May

PS:  I have sent a copy to my best man (and the best man I know), Chase Untermeyer.  I trust him implicitly if you want to call him sometime.  He was the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Reagan/Bush, and has a fine, balanced mind.  I hang out with him to see if it will ever rub off.  So far, no results.  Charmed, Miss Kim.  Garry Owen!  Read the book before you have to pay for a copy (excerpts below).  Email me back if you want the various letters and essays in it that relate to the general.
