September 4, email to Scott Peterson and Howard Lafranchih, Christian Science Monitor

I just spoke with Ms. Kris Axtman, who represents the Christian Science Monitor in Houston, Texas.  She said she believed you would be very interested in my information.  I attach it below, in the form of a letter to Thom Shanker of the New York Times.  I gained his interest by talking Russian with him (I was MI, Cold War) and discussing WMD matters (I was nuclear, bio, chemical form 77-80).  Anyway, he took the email.  The next time we talked, he spoke with me about it for a quarter of an hour.  He admitted that I was right in my surmises, and said that he couldn’t risk the wrath of his paper by following up on it.  One other thing:  He said all this in Russian because he didn’t want to be overheard.  Ponimayete, druzya?  Mi ni mojhem govorit o nashey constitutzii po angliski!  Kakaya plohaya shutka.

Oh well, Ms. Axtman said that y’all specialize in covering the stuff that should be covered but others can’t or won’t.  Anyone want to add another Pulitzer?

Here are my contacts if you want to discuss me and my theories with any of my friends:

Chase Untermeyer [contact details omitted -- Editor]. Chase was my best man at my wedding and served Reagan/Bush as the asst. sec. of the Navy.

Fred King [contact details omitted -- Editor].  Fred was my editor at the Houston Post (RIP), and taught me the writing biz.  He will only communicate off record.

Gretchen Sonnier, my attorney [contact details omitted -- Editor].  She has been an invaluable ally as I investigated.  I am currently using her email address to communicate.

I am working toward a Congressional investigation through several reps and senators, and am in daily communication.  I would not be trying to reach you if now were not the right time.

Captain May
