So the plot thickens.  I just talked with you for five minutes as I sent you the little booby trap I’ve rigged for the collaborationist media.  You sure were interested in the Clark angle, and you followed it all like a pro as I explained the factors that suggested his making a Republican bid for the presidency.  You knew all about the Private Jessica hoax, and you were chummy as you chuckled.  Then I said Battle of Baghdad and you got really, really nervous really, really quick.  Too late, darlin’, you just hooked Newsweek for me.  Thanks.

Sorry to have spooked you so.

PS:  I know I was running you down pretty hard after you got scared, but it serves you right.  I still want to know if you guys had to sign security clearances.  I’m thinking you did, and if you did, there went your career.  Pass it on for me.

Got the message. Do you have a boiled-down version? Friday is deadline day, I can't get to this till next week unless you have something concise. Many thanks!

Hey man, you're too busy with show biz to do any real analysis, so have some of mine.  Below are two essays published by the Houston Chronicle.  One was run April 3, and predicts disaster in Iraq.  The other was run July 8, and predicts disaster in Iraq along with an investigation of the president (it also predicts Clark's candidacy, by the way).  I wrote both of them, and you shouldn't be out of the loop if you haven't read them.  The third is unpublished, and that’s too bad, because it’s the one that talks about World War III.  Come and see.

PS:  I've attached some hate mail for Sean Hannity.  Pass it on.
